Tow Stroke Engines

Exhaust and Intake- The air will be blown into the cylinder, which will eventually push the old exhaust from the valves. After that, exhaust valves and inlet will be closed. Next comes the piston, which will move upwards and compress the air to heat up. Once the piston reaches the cylinder's top, fuel will be injected, which will ignite it. Power- Once both the air and fuel mixture begin to burn, the piston will be pushed downwards, driving the crankshaft and giving the wheels the power to move.

Four-Stroke Engines

Unlike two-stroke engines, the piston's movement process, which is its up and down movement, will happen twice.

Intake- First comes the intake, where the air will be drawn into the cylinder. It will go through the opening in the valves and make the piston move downwards.

Compression- Then comes in compression. The inlet valve will shut off, which will move the piston upwards. This process will compress the air and fuel mixture, which will eventually heat everything up. Into the hot gas, fuel will be injected via a central fuel injection value, which will make it ignited.

Power- Once both the air and fuel mixture begin to burn, the piston will be pushed downwards, driving the crankshaft and giving the wheels the power to move.

Exhaust- The outlet valve will open up in one of the ends, which will let out the exhaust gas. These are the working process of two-stroke and four-stroke engines. When it comes to the sizes, two-stroke engines will be smaller. Four-stroke are more efficient and produce better power during each rotation. But since they work more, they will need to be cooled down and will require lubrication.
